Africa, particularly East Africa, is full of opportunity and is the emerging frontier for global business development and growth. Although the key business indicators are improving, the region’s operating environment remains one of the most difficult in the world, suffering from high corruption, shortages of key skills, stop-go policies, poor regulations and labour union issues
Business climates across the region are very different. In Rwanda for example, it is possible to set up a business in two days, whereas in Kenya, it can take 18 months. We can shorten that time to 6-8 weeks.
Africans represent nearly one-seventh of the planet’s population, and are its youngest and fastest-growing segment, with nearly half (43 percent) under the age of 15. The population is increasingly highly educated, connected, motivated to drive change and stake their claim as an emerging force in the global economy.
We feel that across the region, a burgeoning entrepreneurial spirit is taking hold with a thirst for economic independence. Some African nations are developing international reputations for specific economies of expertise.
Enticed by the potential for growth, the business world is now committing themselves to Africa. Montane Africa are here to help you.
